Don’t scare them away

Don’t try to hurt them

Injuring animals is never an option, and often is illegal. Moreover, if a furry critter is injured, it may not be able to leave the area.

Animals that wander into your yard or home often do so in search of food. If you do feed them, they’re less likely to leave because they’ll see you and your home as a food source.

Don’t try to trap them yourself
